Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Machining) who will handle technical support, process/product development, and optimization for new product introduction (NPI) and repair projects.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace) from a college/university

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in the Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine engine mechanical design discipline

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to ensure high-quality production output.
• Develop fixturing, tooling, and CNC programs for turbine component machining (milling, grinding, and EDM).
• Lead project teams in the development of new designs, repairs, and processes.
• Make critical technical decisions and provide guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
• Take ownership of technical aspects throughout the manufacturing stages.
• Utilize lean tools and methodologies to optimize production processes and product design, driving measurable business improvements.
• Work closely with the Chromalloy Engineering team to support new part and repair development, ensuring production readiness and implementing innovative technologies.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of various measuring techniques, such as CMM, white-light/laser scanning, and gages, used for design development.
• Extensive knowledge of gas turbine component manufacturing processes, including airfoil manufacturing and inspections.
• Hands-on experience with Multi-Axis Grinding, Milling, EDM Drilling, or EDM Die Sink machining using equipment from leading manufacturers like Makino, Sodick, Belmont, Blohm, or Okuma.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and CAM programming, specifically Siemens NX software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Strong understanding of G/M Code for CNC machining and its application.
• Thoughtful and effective communication skills
