The company is recruiting a Senior Mechanic who will perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs and maintenance to mobile equipment and rolling stock.

Determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics, and orders replacement parts.

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related industrial maintenance mechanic role
• Experience in repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment (preferred)
• Previous experience in a shipyard or steel manufacturing industry (a plus)
• Previous experience in troubleshooting and repairing PLC/CNC equipment is beneficial

Duties/Responsibilities

• Basic preventive maintenance and repair of motors, transmissions
• Basic repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical functions (forklifts, cranes, golf carts)
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Troubleshoot motors and transmissions
• Vehicle/automotive mechanics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Diagnosing complex mechanical issues
• Interpreting technical manuals and schematics
• Repairing and maintaining engines and systems
• Supervising junior mechanics
• Using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment

Work Environment

• Able to work weekends or overtime as needed
• Exposure to noise, grease, and tools
• Full-time with occasional overtime
• Physically demanding and hands-on work
• Safety gear is required at all times
• Workshop or garage environment
