Job Profile

The company is searching for a Service Repair Technician to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical aptitude is required.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicate updates on equipment to the Supervisor
• Complete shop maintenance during downtime
• Enter jobs into the computer system in alignment with company processes
• Operate overhead crane, hoist, forklift, and miscellaneous air and electric hand tools and measuring instruments as required to perform repairs and maintenance
• Order parts
• Perform some welding and fabrication as required (Mig, Stick, plasma, torch cutting)
• Read and understand technical instructions (blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
• Service or repair vacuum trucks and other types of heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and evaluate various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Work in alignment with all company and OSHA safety policies

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to assemble components per drawings or verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and work instructions pro
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose all systems related to a complete vacuum system.
• maintain a clean and safe workplace, must work in a manner deemed safe for self and others.
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications,
• Willingness to work overtime when requested.
