Job Profile
The company is hiring a Shop Helper who will assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties, usually under close supervision.
The position will be in charge of providing technical assistance to staff.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants require a High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus, not required)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Help around the warehouse with fabrication, stainless steel
- Keeping the shop stocked and clean
- Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications
- Parts runner for various parts and supplies for the shop
- Receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly
- Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines

Work Environment
- Frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read the application/form information.
