Job Profile

The company is searching for a Shop Laborer who will perform a variety of tasks within the fabrication shop.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• By using an oxygen-acetylene torch, cut steel scrap material and carry it to the bin to assist with burn table operations.
• Cares for a property by repairing the yard, shoveling, and removing snow.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.
• Fill in the blaster for continuing blast booth operations if a full-time blaster is absent.
• Performs any unskilled job at the fabrication shop.
• Reports any issues to the supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Perform other duties assigned

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Job training for this position is provided by a department trainer
