Job Profile

The company is searching for a Shop Supervisor who will supervise a team while managing the daily production operations while holding them accountable for all company policies and standards, including safety.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have passed a High School or Higher one

Work Experience

  • The candidates should have previous supervisory/management experience (5 years minimum)
  • Experience in one or all of the following is preferred like welding, metal fabrication, and machining.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training of new hire employees and ongoing education for the team.
  • Coordinate with management and/or employees from other departments in the manufacturing/fabrication/assembly process.
  • Expedite shop orders through the department.
  • Help team to maintain machines and work area in a clean and safe manner.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department and its employees; including all performance management, time-keeping, and safety procedures.
  • Training Schedule – approximately 1 Month on 1st Shift

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task on a consistent basis throughout the shift
  • Ability to work with others and be a team player
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Average math skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete logs, documents, and reports in English
  • Consistent shop floor presence (2/3 of shift)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills; able to converse professionally with shop and office employees, supervisors, managers, and executives
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Proficient with performance management, including plans of action and evaluations
  • Strong focus on Safety

Licenses/Certifications

  • 1st Aid/CPR/AED
  • CNC Machinist Cert
  • Powered Fork Truck
