Job Profile
The company is seeking a Shot Blaster to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
Work Experience
- Previous experience with sandblasting, shot blasting, or auto painting (required)
- Must be mechanically and technically inclined
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in Crane Operation as needed
- Assist in masking/taping and UV as needed
- Complete appropriate paperwork/log books
- Ensure high-quality products with visual quality check
- Follow facility safety regulations
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment
- Maintain and operate shot blasting equipment properly and safely
- May train as a backup painter
- Pull and read product blueprints for blast knowledge
- Shot blast poles using a shot blast hose
- Wear required personal protective equipment including supplied air hood (must pass a FIT and PFT)
- Work closely with the Long Side Finishing Department

Work Environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.,
- Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, stoop, push, pull, reach, grasp, hold, and carry for various periods
- Able to wear required PPE at all times: Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, reflective vest, long sleeves, long pants, steel-toed boots with built-in met guards, fresh air feed hood, face shield
