Job Profile

The company is seeking a Spooler Operator who will perform all kinds of jobs, with assigned equipment and people, safely and efficiently.

The Operator provides service delivery with flawless service quality and no Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) incidents in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures.

The position reports to the Supervisor.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Possess a minimum 3 years of experience as a skilled operator or equivalent military experience
  • Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, machine, and welding (helpful)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in helper role and performs general yard work.
  • Clean and blasts parts
  • Completes formal training sessions on QHSE and technical subjects as described by the Training Matrixes for the position.
  • Final equipment preparation duties include painting or coating and boxing.
  • Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, and standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation.
  • Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
  • Obtains certifications as required for duties assigned.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as dictated by business needs and as assigned by management.
  • Participates in a pre-tour and toolbox meeting with all members of the crew.
  • Performs warehouse operations.
  • Repairs, assembles, and dismantles equipment as directed by the shift leader.
  • Works in a safe and conscientious manner to ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow crew members.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Basic PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (desirable)

Other Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US/Canada, without sponsorship
