Job Profile
The company is looking for a Steel Material Handler who will be responsible for the general handling of materials where applicable. Material handling may be associated with various areas, including unloading inbound material, loading outbound material, or moving and distributing material to various operation areas for fabrication.
This position primarily involves working outdoors.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Work Experience
- Overhead Crane experience (preferred)
- Forklift certified (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate with team members verbally and non-verbally.
- Efficiently and safely operate applicable equipment to unload, load, and distribute material with minimal supervision.
- Embrace and demonstrate the qualities of the TNS Game Changer definition.
- Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
- Work efficiently in all forms of weather (wind, heat, cold, rain, snow).
- Other duties as assigned.
