Job Profile
The company is looking for a Team Leader (Fabrication) who will be responsible for the provision of ‘hands-on’ leadership that enables the team to deliver; safe, efficient, and compliant fabrication and repair services to the Mining Division.
Educational Qualification
- The applicants should have a Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
- The Welder Supervisor’s ticket to AS2214 is desirable
- Welding Inspection qualification desirable
Work Experience
- The mining industry and Liebherr equipment experience is well regarded but not essential
- High-Risk License LF, DG, RI, all desirable
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accurate completion of documentation
- Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the production process
- Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and pre-start meetings
- Inspect completed components for compliance
- Manage team’s workflow to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, or scissor lifts
- Provide effective leadership and direction to allocated team members
- Training other team members on the job
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical workshop drawings
- Demonstrated experience using MS software
