Job Profile

The company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its team.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME)
  • Prior plant experience is preferred

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Attend sales meetings and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness.
  • Engage with key decision-makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries.
  • Entertain customers or vendors including after hours to strengthen relationships.
  • Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech.
  • Maintains a high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends
  • Manage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetings
  • Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings
  • Provides start-up service and support when required

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations
  • Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers)
  • Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships
  • Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment, and machine shop processes (preferred)
  • Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
