Job Profile
The company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its team.
Education Level
- Engineering or Technical Degree or rotating equipment experience (preferred)
Work Experience
- Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME)
- Prior plant experience is preferred
Duties/Responsibilities
- Attend sales meetings and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness.
- Engage with key decision-makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries.
- Entertain customers or vendors including after hours to strengthen relationships.
- Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech.
- Maintains a high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends
- Manage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetings
- Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings
- Provides start-up service and support when required

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations
- Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers)
- Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships
- Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment, and machine shop processes (preferred)
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
