Job Profile

The company is searching for a TIG Welder who will be responsible for welding stainless steel subassemblies according to the ASME code, applying proficiency in 6G welding techniques on stainless and carbon steel and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our products, contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.

Educational Qualification

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Team Lead to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
  • Inspect welded joints and structures to identify and address defects or imperfections.
  • Monitor and maintain welding equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Operate welding machinery and tools to join, fabricate, and repair metal components and structures.
  • Perform various welding tasks with precision and attention to detail ensuring high-quality welds and strong structural integrity.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Select appropriate welding methods, tools, and materials based on project specifications and materials being used.
  • Set up welding equipment including selecting proper settings for voltage, current, and gas flow.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to pass the 6G Tig Test (2″ carbon steel schedule 80 pipe with 70S-6 filler)
  • Demonstrated positive work history as well as a reliable and punctual attendance record
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
  • Strong self-directed and proactive work ethic
