Job Profile

The company is hiring a TIG Welder who will weld a wide variety of products used in the visible commercial and retail marketplace.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Experience with light gauge and ornamental welding
• Ability to pass a TIG welding test required to demonstrate thin gauge and delicate weld experience.
• Experience in cutting material to be welded.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to cut material to be welded.
• Ensure a safe environment by keeping a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure very thin gauge weld and the final appearance of the products are key.
• Experience with light gauge and ornamental welding.
• Will primarily weld stainless steel, bronze, brass, and aluminum.
• Work 10-12-hour shifts or Saturday availability.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to work overtime or weekends when needed
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills are a plus.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and understand dimensions on drawings.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record
• MIG skills are a plus.
• Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift, and carry items
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold weather environment
