Job Profile

The company is searching for a TIG Welder I who will perform daily manufacturing of components and finished assemblies for safety instrumentation products.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have a High School Diploma

Work Experience

  • The candidates should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Continuously learn new job skills within the workflow/plant to improve the overall effectiveness of the organization.
  • Execute and maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S methods
  • Follow current Standard Work with excellence, including accountability for the quality of work performed.
  • Identify all out-of-standard and nonconforming conditions; alert Team Lead and/or Supervisor for remediation.
  • Identify and propose ideas to improve safety, quality, throughput, and teamwork.
  • Perform all work according to the area and Magnetrol procedures and code of conduct
  • Understand and identify sources of waste in the workflow and work with Team Lead/Supervisor to eliminate them.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to use various hand tools (wire strippers, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
  • Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows
  • Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure)
