The company is looking for a Tool and Die Maker III who will deliver industry-leading performance.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, or related fields
• Associate’s Degree in Electronics and or Electrical Engineering Technologies

Work Experience

• Experience as a CNC Machinist operating a 3 and 4-axis mill or lathe
• Experience with CAD/CAM-type software, preferably Esprit
• Tool and Die experience
• Wire and Sinker EDM experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, and perform all bench and machine operations to construct, alter, and repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, etc. where a high degree of skill and an extensive knowledge of tooling practice and application is required.
• Work from complicated drawings and specifications, and use a wide variety of precision instruments for exacting measurements.
• Perform difficult machining operations requiring complicated set-ups involving the improvising of tooling and machines for adaptations beyond the normal range and capacities of available equipment.
• Perform close and exacting bench and assembly operations to fit, align, calibrate, adjust, assemble, and finish work.
• May do development and experimental work, select allowances and materials, and proceed from own conception in the absence of design and specifications.
• Will assign work and instruct other tool room personnel.
• Serve as lead on projects, working closely with designers and engineers.
• Establishes and maintains an effective preventative maintenance program.
• Participates in ongoing Continuous Improvement processes.
• Serve as backup support in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
• Other general facilities and project duties as assigned by the supervisor
