Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Tool and Die Maker III who will set up and operate manual and CNC mills, grinders, lathes, EDMs, and polishing equipment to produce all required product types including complex tooling assemblies.

Demonstrate intermediate troubleshooting abilities and perform setups for others as well as mentor lower-level employees.

Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of thread/form roll tooling materials, configurations, and functions, packages, punches, and dies.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)

Work Experience

  • Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Assist in R&D work (working with engineering and production)
  • Correctly interpret work orders
  • Lift up to 30lbs
  • Machine complex components
  • Operate all required equipment (Lathes, Grinders, and EDM, etc.)
  • Provide leadership and training to lower-level employees
  • Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Advanced inspection tools and processes
  • Advanced knowledge of materials (Carbide, etc.)
  • Advanced print reading
  • Advanced shop math
  • Advanced troubleshooting, (product and equipment)
  • The ability to navigate the intranet to locate process documents – basic computer skills
  • The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
  • The ability to read and write English.
