Job Profile
The company is looking for a Tool and Die Technician who will primarily be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and troubleshooting tooling or fixturing to support manufacturing operations.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of tool and die experience (preferred)
- Completion of Tool and Die apprenticeship training
- Journeyman’s card (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of new and repaired tooling.
- Comply with established job safety practices, and procedures as specified by company policies.
- Ensures that parts and tooling are in accordance with instructions, prints, and work orders.
- Fabricates and repairs machine tools using machining operations and measuring instruments.
- Maintain all assigned machines and equipment including preventative maintenance.
- Performs welding and heat treating as needed.
- Proficient in the use of all shop equipment to maintain, and troubleshoot tooling.
- Set up and operates machine tools, lathes, and grinders.
- Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, and jigs.
- Perform organizational duties including maintaining an organized and clean work area.

- Ability to define problems, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Communication skills
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must have troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- May have to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
