Job Profile
The company is searching for a Tool Maker/Machine Builder to join the assembly and integration team.
Must possess a machining and fabrication background and the ability to work within tight tolerance specifications.
The scope is focused on the timely execution of assigned tasks as an individual contributor and functioning well within a team environment.
Work directly with engineers on the design, development, and fabrication of new and existing products to optimize design for manufacturability.
Education Level
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience
- 2 years Post- Secondary/Associate Degree with 2 to 4 years of prior related experience.

- Possess work-related experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to identify problems and suggest solutions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
- Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge.
- Must be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions.
- Must be mechanically inclined and be able to work with very fragile and precise assemblies.
- Proficient with operating Mills, surface grinder, and lathe.
- Speaks clearly and concisely, presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups.
- Understands and adheres to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
- Willingness to work overtime, shift work, weekends, holidays, and some travel.
Preferred Additional Skills-
- Aerospace or Defense industry experience
- Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical fabrication discipline
- Experience with CNC programming utilizing Mastercam
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Experience working with composite materials
- Skilled Journeyman’s Certification
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Security clearance required upon hiring: Ability to obtain
- Security clearance required for the role: Top Secret/SCI w/poly
