The company is looking for a Tool/Template Maker to join its team.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or had 8 years of previous experience, or had a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• Experience fabricating and repairing fixtures and tooling
• Mechanical robot experience for greasing and rebuilding

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures, to work in a team environment, to treat co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and to accept and follow instructions and requests from leadership.
• Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perceive differences in details and prints related to trade.
• Ability to perform tasks of the trade, stand for extended periods, walk unassisted, work at heights, work overhead including on ladders and platforms, and manipulate tools typical of the trade. Tasks will require a certain amount of reaching, lifting, twisting, bending, and use of a PMHV or Hilo.
• Willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts, work more than 8 hours per day, or work overtime, all while maintaining good attendance.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Blueprint and schematic reading, CAD
• Die maintenance preferred
• Knowledge and use of forklift, mobile boom crane, articulating boom lift
• Operation of manual Lathes, mills, surface grinders, radial drills, and metal cutting machines.
• Rebuild and repair pumps, gearboxes, drive systems, cylinders
• Set up and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines
• Use of precision measuring tools
