Job Profile

The company is looking for a Trailer Technician II who will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch, and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools.

Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches, and hinges type of work.

Education Level

• High School Diploma
• Vocational Certificate or Work Experience

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds, and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment
• Performs Maintenance, Troubleshoots, and inspects equipment
• Tests equipment for proper operations
• Performs Brake Jobs
• Checks Suspension
• Other job duties

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Carpentry fabrication and welding (a plus)
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass background and a drug test
