Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Treasury Manager who will be responsible for treasury strategies, policies, and operations in North America.

Also, support the Senior Treasury Manager Americas in providing Treasury advisory services to JCI’s North American business units and supports the region in the areas of cash management processes, inter-company funding, treasury systems, banking infrastructure, and bank relations, as well as credit facilities.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education and experience.

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the treasury department of a large international company.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct RFI/RFPs, negotiate and finalize cash pool terms and conditions, and manage implementations.
• Demonstrates leadership and training skills to further develop analysts within the department.
• Management of Parental Guarantees and Trade finance instruments issuance/renewals
• Negotiate, review, reconcile, and maintain bank fees, cash pool, and credit facility agreements
• Provides support and training to local finance teams and shared services center regarding cash management, treasury, and finance issues.
• Responsible for managing bank relationships in the Region and maintaining a cost-efficient banking infrastructure. Enhances relationships with banks that are strategic to the company.
• Set up and management of sophisticated static data relative to the region for the department’s global payment factory solution (Trax) and Treasury Management System (Quantum)
• Support further deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Trax, the Company’s straight-through global payment platform over SwiftNet
• Support Regional Legal Entity Reduction/Transformation initiatives
• Support the integration/separation of newly acquired/divested businesses into/from the Company’s treasury systems and processes.
• Support the Senior Treasury Manager (and act as backup) in providing Treasury Advisory Services to Business Units, in areas including Supply Chain Financing, Foreign Exchange Risk, as well as other ad-hoc projects.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• An energetic, creative, results-oriented organizer with a focus on value-adding processes and customer service.
• Detail-oriented; strong analytical and communication skills
• Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and cash management
• Knowledge of Treasury Systems (Quantum preferred), Payment Factory Systems (Trax preferred), Inter-company Netting, and SwiftNet connectivity
• Knowledgeable of U.S. and International Accounting and Tax
• Poised personality, well organized, capable of taking initiative and working in a team-based environment
• Understands and integrates coaching, counseling, and mentoring as key activities of a manager’s role.
