Job Profile
The company is hiring a Tugger/Kitter who will produce a quality product safely and efficiently using spot welding equipment to weld metal parts together seamlessly.
Educational Level
- High School Diploma with 2-3 years of experience in a factory setting
- Welding test credit or Welding Certificate
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Any employee who develops or maintains an environmental record shall be responsible for
- Any employee who identifies a non-conformance has the responsibility of immediately bringing the matter to the attention of the Environmental Management Representative.
- Employees are responsible for following emergency procedures as directed and instructed to protect their health/safety, that of co-workers, and the environment
- Has the authority to identify any process, activity, or service that has the potential for causing a Significant Health and Safety or Environmental Impact on Management.
- Has the authority to identify areas of opportunity for improvement in management.
- Inspect parts for weld quality and distinguish a good weld from a defective weld and the causes of the defect
- Reports to a Supervisor
- Responsible for complying with the requirements of the Environmental Policy and for implementing the policy within the scope of their duties.
- Responsible for the completion of Environmental Management Program tasks related to their assigned area of responsibility.
- The originators of work instructions shall be responsible for maintaining such work instructions.
- Understand Process instruction sheets.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge of proper welding procedures and techniques
Working Conditions
- 100 % plant floor (PPE required)
Physical Demands
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
- Overtime as required
Health/Safety
- Must work following Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear equipment, protective devices, or certain clothing as required by the company
