Duties/Responsibilities

• Completes all required documentation of service work performed
• Ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner
• Fills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are out
• Follows all company policies and procedures, following guidelines established by Arcosa management
• Knows and understands aggregate recycling operations
• Makes general repairs to equipment, as required
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, as required
• Understands what it takes for a customer-oriented business to be successful and what it takes to provide the products/services necessary to meet the customers’ needs on a timely basis
• Welds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairs
• Other duties/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Plant General Manager from time to time

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to read and understand basic reports and complete routine mathematics
• Complete understanding of the workings of the equipment used by the company
• The ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork, etc.)

Work Environment

• The ability to lift fifty (50) lbs. pounds with regularity and up to seventy-five (75) pounds in some cases
