The company is recruiting a Vehicle Mechanic II to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Technical School Graduates – Students with a background in Industrial Systems, Machine Tool Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, HVAC, Process Technology, Electrical Technology, and Instrumentation Technology are encouraged to apply.

Work Experience

• 1-3 years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience a plus
• Welding knowledge and experience are a plus

Duties/Responsibilities

• Document/record work performed electronically on a computer-based maintenance system
• Gas and electrical welding experience preferred
• Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on tractors and tanker trailers
• Perform road repairs when necessary

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
• Energetic, highly motivated, and well organized, self-starter with a strong commitment to safety
• Mechanical background, with above-average computer experience/skills
• Solid work history
• Strong team player with the ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel
