Job Profile
The company is looking for a Weld Associate II who will be responsible for placing fitted fabricated steel structures in the required fixtures and operating robots per blueprints with limited supervision.
This position applies trade skills to a wide variety of welding jobs on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
This position will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Technical Diploma in Welding from an institute.
Work Experience
- Possess 6 months of prior MIG welding experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous robotic welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to use and read a tape measure
- Complete all welding tasks on time
- Count and maintain an accurate tracking system
- Follow all processes and Work Instructions at all times
- Perform required quality checks
- Read blueprints and communicate with co-workers
- Report any equipment issues to the department lead
- Set up, run, and operate machinery
- Weld steel parts in a jig fixture
- All other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
