Job Profile

The company is looking to hire a Welder to join its team for manufacturing and supply chain needs.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

  • Possess technical training or experience in one or more of the following weld processesstructural steel welding, Mig welding, and Tig welding

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Clean all welds, including paint as needed.
  • Communicate outside of the team and across shifts.
  • Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behavior.
  • Effectively use measuring devices to ensure the accuracy of cuts.
  • Move material using a forklift, crane, cart, or conveyor.
  • Must be able to perform the task assigned within the assembly area.
  • Must be able to work safely, be dedicated to performing quality work, and be productive.
  • Operate all equipment safety to produce desired results (i.e. welders)
  • Perform Mig or Tig welding as needed to accomplish assigned task
  • Perform structure steel welding.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to determine dimensions, design, and materials needed for performing duties.
  • Troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions.
  • Work scheduled hours including overtime.
  • Work with minimum supervision.
  • Operate hand tools required for performing job duties.
  • Perform welding duties in the assembly area which includes but is not limited to that channel, gussets, motor trolleys, fans, and cool racks.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Actively practices and promotes safety
  • Employee may not have any active written warnings for performance or attendance
  • Learn to operate all equipment associated with the job
  • Must be able to Mig or arc weld in 2F & 3F positions
  • Must be able to oxy-fuel cutting and carbon arc cutting
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Must be exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability
  • Must understand all weld processes
