Job Profile

The company is searching for a Welder who will perform MIG and TIG welding of fabricated tubing and accessories for automotive exhaust systems.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma
• Complete and pass the welding test

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus, not required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist as necessary to relieve bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
• Be accountable for the cleanliness of welding areas.
• Participate as a team member responsible for welding operations that involve the fabrication of finished goods.
• Perform welding repairs as needed.
• Routine maintenance of MIG/TIG welders.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Mathematical Skills-

• Ability to read and understand calibrations
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic mathematical skills

Reasoning Ability-

• The ability to function as a team member
• Willingness to take on team responsibilities

Performance Expectations-

• Ability and willingness to have flexibility in shifts and to work overtime when necessary.
• Be willing to perform other tasks and help out fellow employees when necessary.
• Exercise integrity at all times.
• Know and use Personal Protective Equipment and all safety rules at all times.

Physical Demands

• Standing for an eight-hour workday
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 35# may be required
