Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Must achieve a minimum percentile score of 33 on the DAT test
• Must pass the Hendrickson weld test – 2G

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and KanBan cards and other media as required.
• Feed and operate welding systems. Make running adjustments as needed.
• Perform all duties associated with hand welding and weld repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled.
• Perform machine-to-machine material handling as necessary within the cell.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions
• Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen
