Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder who will be responsible for adding value to the process flow by accurately assembling various components or sub-assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds

Educational Qualification

  • Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Manufacturing environment experience (a plus)


  • Ability to set up welding equipment including changing gas
  • Exercising product and process knowledge to identify out-of-conformance situations and alert the supervisor or Quality Auditor of these situations in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace and Plant proper.
  • Maintenance of good housekeeping practices always.
  • Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company.
  • Picking and placing components or subassemblies into proper fixturing and joining by the application of GMAW (Gas-Metal-Arc Welding.
  • Rotation of positions into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules and Company goals in general.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day.
  • May have to lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • Works around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyer roller lines.
  • May work in outside weather conditions in all seasons.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties.
  • Requires personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut-resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear which will be provided (contingent on position).
  • Additional items required but not included are steel-toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards.
