Job Profile

The company is searching for a Welder who is capable of performing a variety of welding functions.

Be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment.

Required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working as a welder
• ASME Code welding certification (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of the welding area.
• Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.
• Complete all required documentation that relates to the product produced.
• Document and report raw material consumption for all finished products.
• Ensure all operations conform to our ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Weld and document the production of products.
• Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• Ability to use various measuring instruments
