Job Profile

The company is searching for a Welder who will perform MIG Welding in the process of fabricating and welding parts for the manufacturing process.

Read blueprints to ensure that the part is assembled properly and with good quality.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of a Certification in Welding from a Technical School or College

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ability to weld in all positions and ensure weld quality.
  • Assemble and finish parts from blueprints.
  • Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with the supervisor or engineer to clarify production problems.
  • Lay out, measure, position, align, and fit components together.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
  • Set up equipment and welding parts with Mig.
  • Weld tank sections together.
  • Clock in and out of job orders correctly.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints (required)
  • Must pass the Hi-Vac Welding Test
