Job Profile
The company is seeking a Welder who will be responsible for adding value to the process flow by accurately assembling various components or sub-assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to set up welding equipment including changing gas
- Exercising product and process knowledge to identify out-of-conformance situations and alert the supervisor or Quality Auditor of these situations on time.
- Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace and Plant proper.
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices always.
- Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company.
- Picking and placing components or subassemblies into proper fixturing and joining by the application of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)

- Rotation of positions into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules and Company goals in general.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day.
- The team member may have to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May work in outside weather conditions in all seasons. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties.
- Requires personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut-resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear which will be provided (contingent on position).
- Additional items required but not included are steel-toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards.
