Job Profile

The company is searching for a Welder who will tend one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, industrial robots, or hand welders to machine metal work pieces to specifications on a production-rate basis by performing the following duties.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adds coolant to machine reservoir and turns valve to start the coolant flow.
• Cleans machined parts.
• Files, sands, or shapes machined parts.
• Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Mig or Tig welds product parts according to specifications either by machine or manually.
• Moves machine controls and guides to adjust the machine.
• Replaces worn machine accessories such as cutting tools or brushes.
• Starts machine, engages feed and observes operation.
• Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Lifts work-piece manually or using hoist and secure work piece in the fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
