Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welder who will be responsible for welding mild or structural steel using GMAW/MIG and FCAW methods.

Requires the ability to work in various welding positions and produce high-quality welds.

Possess a solid foundation in welding techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED (not required but preferred)
  • Completion of a welding trade school program (not required but preferred)
  • The minimum age requirement is 18 years

Work Experience

  • 1+ year of on-the-job related experience welding using GMAW or FCAW welding methods.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow detailed blueprints and work instructions to complete welding projects as per specifications.
  • Accurately read and interpret measurements using a tape measure. (test will be required)
  • Be willing to assist with other related tasks in different departments as needed.
  • Conduct equipment checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Adhere to all workplace safety standards.
  • Lift and maneuver metal components, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials (up to 50 lbs. minimum).
  • Must be capable of welding in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions and creating fillet or butt weld joints.
  • Perform welding on mild and structural steel using GMAW (MIG) and FCAW methods.
  • Complete required welding tests to demonstrate skills and meet job qualifications.
  • Utilize basic welding equipment and hand tools such as grinders, cut-off wheels, and magnetic drills.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Demonstrated exemplary attendance and work habits.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
  • Pass a background check and drug test
  • Stand or walk most shifts, plus the ability to bend, squat, lift (up to fifty pounds), push, pull, reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
