Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- 5 plus years of welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform all work following quality standards and established safety procedures
- Perform TIG and MIG welding daily
- Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime if needed
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
- Must possess mechanical aptitude
Work Environment
- 20/20 vision
- Able to lift 30 lbs. min
- Standing for long periods
- Wear proper PPE for the job
