The company is looking for a Welder to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required) with Vocational Training or Technical Education (preferred)

Work Experience

  • Experience with a handheld plasma cutter (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Layout, align, fit, and weld fabricated steel and aluminum components
  • Perform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention while making adjustments to perform properly
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Responsible for welding steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms
  • Strong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspection

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read blueprints and weld assemblies to comply with the engineering standards
  • Ability to regularly move, twist, bend, and crouch while working
  • Dependable with a good attendance record
  • Knowledge and technique of MIG welding
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Must have the ability to read a tape measure
