Duties/Responsibilities

• Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing
• Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy
• Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets, and closer reinforcements
• Mark identification information on the material for communication with fellow employees, as well as the end user
• Operate various projection welding machine setups
• Set up machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be proficient at reading work orders
• Must have a concern for quality control

Work Environment

• Can involve awkward or confined spaces
• Exposed to high heat and sparks
• May work indoors or outdoors
• Often work in noisy environments
• Required to wear protective gear
