The Bay Metal Works (a division of the Bay Family of Companies) focuses on custom metal parts from supplied customer drawings. The division company’s capabilities include cutting round, square, rectangular, flat, oval, and virtually any other type of tubing utilizing our laser.

Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder who will work with the floor supervisors, quality control, and shop supervisor to ensure that all work is fit up and welded to the specifications of each job and meets outlined requirements.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants may be required to have basic education i.e. High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• The candidates should have 4 to 7 years of experience in a welding/fabrication environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Clamping, holding, tack welding, heat straightening, plasma cutting, and grinding required to obtain configurations and positions for welding
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to ensure conformance with customer specifications
• Operate various equipment (saw, shear, rollers, etc.) using safe work habits
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Weld separately or in combination using aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, or other alloys
