Job Profile

The company is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Welder/Fabricator to join its Equipment Engineering team.

The applicants should have experience in metalwork fabrication and industrial equipment mechanical operation.

They will have the responsibility for the fabrication and assembly of our machinery and equipment made in Australia and installed across our global sites.

You will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts, as well as contributing to another ad hoc project work as required.

This role is most suited to someone who has some experience working with stainless steel, TIG welding, and fabrication.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet having related schooling will be a plus.

Work Experience

• The candidates should have previous welding experience (TIG)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of machine parts and components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Setting a high standard of quality
• TIG Welding both light (1.6 sheets) and heavier gauge stainless steel
• With scope to diversify
• Work both independently and as part of the team
• Ad hoc factory duties as required

• Organised – Able to deal with multiple tasks and organise the daily routine to meet deadline and completion dates
• Responsible – Work in accordance with Health and Safety requirements, report concerns and feedback on potential risks

• Forklift license advantageous
