Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welder/Fabricator who will interpret dimensions and weld parameters from blueprints and perform the operation of tack welding.

Responsible for preparing material that will be welded out by welders.

Will be required to weld out the product using the GMAW process

Educational Qualification

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork for tracking of product.
• Conform to all policies set by the company and perform the operation in a safe and productive manner at all times.
• May be involved in but not limited to the following processes: Oxy-Fuel, cutting, grinding, and held plasma cutting. GMAW and the use of hand tools.
• Be responsible for operating a fork truck to move material from different workstations.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly at all times.
• Makes adjustments to produce quality products to specific dimensions.
• Must be able to be certified in the use of an overhead crane.
• Read and interpret Blue Prints to lay out, position, align, and fit components together
• Report all unsafe conditions and product that does not meet quality standards to the lead or supervisor.
• Use tape measures and other measuring devices to assure that parts are placed in the right locations before welding.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to interpret dimensions from blueprints and perform the operation of laying out parts for welding
