Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Welder Fabricator who will be responsible for fabricating laser-cut automated parts into welded assemblies, daily production tracking for build counts and flow, building complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing, MIG welding in quantity and may require minimal TIG welding (we offer TIG training).

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or over

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in welding and fabrication
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a production environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety standards
• Ensure that quality control standards are met
• Read and understand product schematics
• Use a variety of basic manufacturing tools as needed per job specifications
• Verify dimensions and product specifications
• Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to speak English fluently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit and put the success of the team above their own interests.
• Knowledge of production welding and assembly workflows.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut-off saws, and grinders.
• Knowledge of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies.
• Reliable transportation to comply with company attendance policy.
• Self-motivated and responds timely to production metrics.
