The company is hiring a Welder Fabricator to join its team.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• 3 years of related experience
• Experience using metal lathe, mill, and bandsaw (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Fabricate and assemble new equipment
• Fabricate complex custom production machinery per print, sample, or verbal instruction.
• MIG and TIG welding with the ability to pass a weld test on each. Certification is preferred but not required.
• Read blueprints and create jigs and fixtures for weldments as necessary
• Troubleshoot equipment; isolate the cause of the problem as necessary
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Work on assigned projects
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Familiarity with basic mechanical work including using pipe threader and conduit bender.
• Forklift trainable
• Use measuring tape, calipers, hand grinder, level, and other common tools and instruments
• Welding knowledge
