Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Welder Fabricator with a proven ability in Mig, Tig, or Stick welding, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to understand weld symbols and tolerances.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Previous experience welding – Mig, Tig, Stick
• Welding Certification through an educational institution (preferred)
• Experience with blueprint reading (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assemble metal components and structures according to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve design issues.
• Cut and shape metal using tools like grinders, saws, and shears.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and disposal of scrap metal.
• Inspect finished welds for strength, appearance, and compliance with codes.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan welding and fabrication work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components in structures or equipment.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welders.
• Test and troubleshoot welding machines and equipment for performance.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Good math skills and ability to measure parts with calipers or tape measure
• Mechanical aptitude needed for problem-solving
