Duties/Responsibilities

• Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Follow all company safety rules and practices.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools.
• Set and operate welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and work orders.
• Successfully demonstrate proficient welding capabilities during the weld test.

Work Environment

• Involves standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials for long hours.
