Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welder Fabricator/Maintenance Technician who will perform welding and total productive maintenance operations to ensure continual operation of the equipment and facility.

Plan, lay out, assemble and weld metal fabrication projects in a wide range of types, sizes, and levels of complexity.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing/welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follow all industry and government regulations on safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to the supervisor.
• Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to the 5S program in the work area.
• Perform preventive maintenance with work orders on manual and automated machinery, including CNC lathes, millers, saws, grinders, hones, and facility equipment.
• Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
• Provide estimates of labor and material requirements as requested by Sr. Team Leader. Act as advisor to designers during the project planning phase to suggest work methods that may improve product quality or reduce fabrication hours. Assist in selecting the most appropriate materials to ensure the best project design. Work from both construction and tooling drawings.
• TIG or MIG weld aluminum, steel, and stainless steel in all thicknesses. Perform arc welding in all types of work positions. Operate portable TIG welder and work at field sites; at times under adverse outdoor conditions.
• Verify conformance of the workpiece to the specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplish related results as needed.
