Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welder to join its team for maintenance and manufacturing works.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have completed a High School or GED
• Associates Degree or Certificate in Welding Technology
• Trade/Vocational School graduate with a focus on FCAW or GMAW

Work Experience

• The candidates should have 1 year of FCAW/GMAW welding experience in the heavy fabrication industry

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be able to carry/lift and set up welding equipment ranging from 20-66 lbs.
• Must be able to work inside/outside
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights over 6 feet
• Perform welding in all positions (laying down, kneeling, standing, overhead)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• FCAW groove welding /1G position/UT quality
• Knowledge of AWS Welding Symbols
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
• Perform Fillet weld tests with the following processes FCAW/GMAW-P to Visual Testing standards
• Welding equipment setup and operation
