Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist workers in welding, brazing, and thermal and arc-cutting activities.
• Interpret blueprints or drawings.
• Lift or move heavy materials such as pieces of pipe, equipment, or sheet metal
• Move and gather workpieces (pipe materials), set up pipe, and help fit spools.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background tests
• Must be able to read blueprints
