Duties/Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
- Follow detailed instructions while being observed closely by a supervisor or a lead
- Learn company policies and procedures
- Learn to read blueprints
- Perform measurements within specified tolerances
- Problem solves simple and non-complex issues that need little judgment
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Work on basic manufacturing assignments that have set standards
- Work safely and accurately

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

- Basic understanding of Weld symbols

- Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization, and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
- Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
- General knowledge of equipment and operations.
- Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Perform measurements within specified tolerances
- Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
- Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
Work Environment
- Exposed to high heat, sparks, and bright light
- Risk of burns, eye injuries, and inhaling fumes
- Stand, bend, or kneel for long periods
- Wear protective gear: gloves, helmet, and flame-resistant clothing
- Work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
