Educational Qualification

Work Experience

• 5 years of welding experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be able to focus the laser and make adjustments as required.
• Be able to load and secure pieces correctly into fixtures or load automatic feeding devices.
• Be able to operate the laser, robot, and any attached devices safely.
• Tends to laser and robot to weld or cut metal pieces to specifications on a production basis:
• To be able to check laser power is within acceptable limits.
• Understand error codes generated by equipment, acceptability of laser welds per DF-16, the settings required per process specifications, and allowable changes that can be made to them.
