Job Profile
The company is searching for a Welder III who will be responsible for the interior and exterior of every weld product that enters their designated station for welding defects, base metal defects, and dimensional tolerances and repairs those products to meet specification requirements.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
- 2 years of forklift (preferred)
- Prior welding/cutting experience
- Welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must be able to operate overhead crane and jib hoist
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Must be able to read/understand and work from shop drawings
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings for basic dimensions.
- Be respectful to all persons.
- Be responsible, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Flexible for non-standard working hours.
- Must be able to make sound welds
- Must be able to pass in-house weld test
- Must be able to pass practical and written overhead crane training courses.
- Must be familiar with machinery and possess a basic mechanical aptitude.
- Must have a safety-first attitude.
- Must have good organizational/housekeeping skills and problem-resolution skills.
- Must pass a forklift safety course and demonstrate safe practices.
- Required to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
